Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-04-21
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Reversal Labs website, web application, TradingView indicators, notification services and any related offerings (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Reversal Labs is a systematic trading-signal platform. It has no affiliation with ReversingLabs, Inc., the unrelated software-supply-chain security company. Any similarity of name is coincidental.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], registered in Sweden under org. nr. [ORG-NR], with registered address [REGISTERED ADDRESS] ("Reversal Labs", "we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at [EMAIL].
2. The Service
Reversal Labs is a systematic, rules-based platform that detects mean-reversion and trend setups across global stocks, crypto and funds on daily and weekly timeframes. The Service consists of two products:
- The Reversal Engine indicator — a companion indicator that runs inside the TradingView charting environment.
- The Market Radar — a web application that surfaces ranked signal candidates, per-ticker historical performance and optional notifications delivered via Signal Messenger.
The Service is provided for informational and educational use. Reversal Labs does not execute trades, does not interact with brokerage or wallet accounts, does not custody user funds, and holds no licence to provide investment services. See sections 10 (Not investment advice) and 11 (Hypothetical performance) for the full risk framing.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is higher), to use the Service. By registering you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are legally able to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service, and any trading activity you undertake based on our Content, is lawful in the jurisdiction where you reside.
Accounts are created and authenticated through our identity provider (Clerk). You agree to provide accurate registration information, keep your credentials confidential, and take responsibility for all activity under your Account. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You must not share your login credentials with others or allow others to use the Service under your Account. Each Account is licensed for use by a single human individual. Subscription benefits — including access to the Reversal Engine indicator, the Market Radar and any signal notifications — may not be distributed, resold or made available to non-subscribers. We may refuse registration, suspend, or terminate an Account for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms, abuse of the Service, or non-payment.
4. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
The Service is currently offered free of charge during our public beta ("Early Access"). During Early Access, features, pricing, universes covered, signal rules and notification cadence may change with limited notice.
When paid plans launch, the The One plan will be available at the price disclosed on the pricing page at the point of subscription. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly basis. A free trial of seven (7) days is offered for eligible plans; if you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged the then-current monthly fee.
Payment processing is not applicable during the current public beta. When paid plans launch, we will update these Terms to identify the payment processor and will obtain your authorisation to charge your chosen payment method on each billing cycle until you cancel. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing [EMAIL] before the renewal date. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not refund the current billing term.
5. Refunds and EU right of withdrawal
Except where required by mandatory consumer law, fees already paid are non-refundable, including for unused access, partial subscription periods or change of mind. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not refund the current term. Refund policies of app-store purchases (if applicable) are governed by the app store operator, not by us.
EU consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days of ordering a digital service, unless they expressly request immediate delivery of the service and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is thereby waived. If you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal for an eligible purchase, contact us at [EMAIL] within 14 days.
6. Intellectual property
The Service — including the Reversal Engine rule set, the indicator source code, the Market Radar web application, the website design, and all text, graphics, logos and other materials (except third-party trademarks) — is owned by or licensed to Reversal Labs and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws. The names and visual identity of Reversal Labs, Reversal Engine and Market Radar, and their associated marks, are trademarks of or used by the Company.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use by direct manual interaction as a human individual. No other rights are granted, expressly or by implication. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, redistribute, sublicense, resell or publicly display any Content — including signals, analyses, charts, screenshots, notifications or derivatives — without our prior written permission.
If you believe your intellectual-property rights are being violated on the Service, you may notify us at [EMAIL] with a description of the work, the location of the alleged violation, your contact details and a good-faith statement.
7. Your content and submissions
Aspects of the Service (e.g. watchlists, preferences, feedback, any content you submit) involve content you provide. You retain ownership of what you submit. You grant Reversal Labs a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. Feedback and suggestions you send us become our property to use without attribution or compensation.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to permit any third party to:
- Copy, resell, sublicense or redistribute the Content or any part of the Service;
- Use the Service to build, train, benchmark or improve any competing signal product, model or service;
- Upload content that is unlawful, abusive, infringing, deceptive, defamatory, or that contains malware;
- Interfere with the Service's operation, security, integrity or availability; or
- Attempt to circumvent authentication, rate limiting, paywalls or any technical restriction.
9. Automated and AI access
The standard licence in section 6 reflects manual human use. Unless we have granted you a separate written commercial licence, you may not use any bot, script, crawler, headless browser, API client, AI agent or other automated or semi-automated process to access, read, extract, interact with or systematically collect data from the Service, the indicator, signals, notifications, dashboard output, analyses or derivatives. Text-and-data-mining of authenticated content is prohibited; rights are reserved to the fullest extent permitted by law.
This restriction does not apply to search-engine and LLM/answer-engine crawlers that respect the public robots.txt and llms.txt we publish, when indexing public parts of the Site for search-result and answer-engine discovery.
If you breach this section, the use falls outside the standard licence. You acknowledge that a breach of sections 6 (Intellectual property), 8 (Acceptable use) or this section 9 may cause irreparable harm for which monetary damages alone would be inadequate. We may therefore seek injunctive relief and other equitable remedies, in addition to termination of your Account, recovery of actual damages (including legal costs, detection costs, lost licence fees and any other damages permitted by applicable law) and any statutory rights available to us under applicable intellectual-property, database-protection and computer-misuse laws.
10. Not investment advice
The Content is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Reversal Labs is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, portfolio manager or financial adviser. Nothing on the Service constitutes personalised investment advice, a solicitation, an offer or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, cryptocurrency, fund or other financial instrument, nor does it constitute tax, legal or accounting advice. You are solely responsible for your own investment and trading decisions. You should consult a licensed financial professional before making any decision that is material to your personal financial situation.
11. Hypothetical performance and backtests
Every signal in the Market Radar carries historical performance metrics computed from that specific ticker's own history — for example, the share of prior instances of the same rule that closed above entry at a defined forward horizon, and the average forward move. All such statistics are hypothetical, deterministic projections computed from past price data. They are descriptive, not predictive; they do not constitute recommendations, predictions, suitability assessments, risk evaluations or personalised advice. In particular:
- Past performance is no guarantee of future results. Future outcomes can and often do differ materially from historical ones.
- The figures are hypothetical. They do not represent trades that were actually taken and do not reflect transaction costs, spread, slippage, borrow costs, taxes or the impact of position sizing. Real-world results would differ.
- Small samples are not statistically meaningful. Any signal with fewer than roughly ten prior instances on a ticker should be treated as a weak prior.
- Historical windows reflect surviving instruments. Delisted or restructured tickers may be under-represented, which can inflate past performance in asset classes that saw a lot of failures.
- Regime shifts invalidate priors. A rule that worked well in one market regime may not work in another.
You must not rely on these statistics as a prediction of the future.
12. Trading risk
All investments and trades are risky. You may lose some or all of the capital you invest, regardless of the system, signal or principle used. Crypto trading is especially volatile and largely unregulated — total loss of capital is possible. Do not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. Leverage amplifies losses; if you choose to use leverage, do so at your own risk and within your broker's risk-management limits. Be wary of fraud in the market. Reversal Labs does not open, close or route any trade on your behalf, and does not custody your funds.
13. Third-party services and data
The Service depends on third-party platforms that have their own terms. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms, not by us.
- Clerk — identity and authentication (clerk.com)
- TradingView — the Reversal Engine indicator runs inside the TradingView environment. Access is granted through TradingView's invite-only scripts mechanism after you provide your TradingView user ID. The current indicator version is v1.0. We have no affiliation with TradingView and no control over, or insight into, future changes to their platform. You accept the risk that TradingView may make changes that lead to loss of access to the indicator.
- Signal Messenger — end-to-end encrypted notification delivery (signal.org)
- Market-data vendors — including EOD Historical Data, Binance, Yahoo Finance and the Swedish pension authority's PPM fund feed. Market data is provided by these third parties and is not verified or guaranteed by us for accuracy, completeness or timeliness. Discontinuation of, or changes to, these feeds may impact the coverage, accuracy or availability of signals. We will attempt to find replacements where feasible, but some functionality may have no immediate substitute.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers supporting the Site and the Market Radar
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security or content of third-party services, nor for problems caused by such services.
14. No warranties (in plain English)
We provide the Service "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, complete, timely, secure or virus-free, nor that any defects will be corrected. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all implied warranties — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any non-excludable statutory rights of consumers under mandatory applicable law. Some of the exclusions above may not apply in your jurisdiction.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages — including but not limited to trading losses, lost profits, lost data, cost of replacement services, or loss of goodwill — arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) EUR 100.
Nothing in this section limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for gross negligence, for wilful misconduct, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Reversal Labs and its officers, employees and contractors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your violation of any law or third-party right, or (c) any trade, investment or financial decision you make based on the Content.
This indemnification obligation applies in full to non-consumer (commercial) users. For consumers, it applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory applicable consumer-protection law; mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence remain unaffected.
17. DSA contact points
For the purposes of the DSA:
- For EU authorities and courts: [EMAIL] (language: English)
- For users of the Service: [EMAIL] (language: English)
18. Term and termination
These Terms apply for as long as you use the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your Account if you breach these Terms or if continued provision of the Service becomes commercially or legally impracticable. On termination, your right to access the Service ends, but sections 6, 10–16 and 19 survive.
19. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. How we use cookies and browser storage is described in our Cookies & local storage notice. Both form part of these Terms.
20. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We continually improve the Service. We may add, change, suspend or remove features at any time, and may change the universes covered, signal rules, ranking logic, or notification cadence. Material changes to paid-plan benefits will be communicated in advance.
We may update these Terms from time to time by updating the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-product notice with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
21. Force majeure
Neither party will be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms (other than the obligation to pay) to the extent such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, governmental action, internet or telecommunications outages, denial-of-service attacks, hacking incidents, or failures of third-party infrastructure on which the Service depends. The affected party will use reasonable efforts to resume performance as soon as practicable.
22. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookies notice, constitute the entire agreement between you and Reversal Labs regarding the Service and supersede any prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, promises or agreements, whether written or oral. Marketing materials, blog posts, social-media content, sales conversations, email newsletters and support messages do not form part of the agreement and may not be relied upon as modifying these Terms. No modification of these Terms will be effective unless made in writing by Reversal Labs or through the update mechanism described in section 20.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
If any provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision will be severed from these Terms and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
23. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. These Terms are not governed by the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Stockholm District Court, Sweden, unless applicable mandatory consumer law grants you the right to bring an action in the courts of your country of residence. Mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence remain unaffected.
EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
24. Built by AI agents, supervised by humans
Reversal Labs is primarily built by AI agents operating under human supervision. The platform code, written content, signal-rule specifications, this policy and most product iterations are drafted and maintained by large language model agents through an orchestration workflow operated by the Company.
Signal generation is not AI-driven. The Reversal Engine — oscillator, levels and confluence scoring — is a deterministic, rules-based algorithm. The rules were designed by AI agents, but they are executed as pure code at runtime, without any LLM involvement. Given the same OHLCV input the engine produces the same output every time.
Some higher-order features are AI-driven at runtime. The daily Stock Picks selection, the Market Update commentary and the PPM Paper-Trading analysis use large language models in production to summarise signals, surface external news context and produce ranked lists. These outputs appear alongside the underlying rules-based signals, never in place of them.
No AI system trades on your behalf. Reversal Labs does not operate trading accounts, execute orders or manage funds. All AI-assisted output is informational only — see sections 10 (Not investment advice) and 11 (Hypothetical performance).
This disclosure is provided in the spirit of Article 52 of the EU AI Act. We will update it as the Act's guidance and our use of AI evolve.
25. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be directed to [EMAIL].
Admin note — placeholders to replace before publishing
Four fields remain red-highlighted and need real values:
- [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] — the legal entity operating Reversal Labs
- [ORG-NR] — Swedish company registration number
- [REGISTERED ADDRESS] — registered business address
- [EMAIL] — single inbox for all user contact (e.g.
legal@reversallabs.com). Used as the contact point for support, IP notices, billing, illegal-content reporting and DSA user contact.
All other defaults are set: governing law = Sweden, venue = Stockholm District Court, payment processor = "not applicable during beta", indicator version = v1.0, liability cap for free-tier users = EUR 100, effective date = 2026-04-21. DSA-authorities contact shares the same [EMAIL] as user contact — use a separate inbox if you prefer. Update these defaults if your company is registered outside Sweden or when you launch paid plans / a new indicator version.
